Book Review: Pivot Point by Kasie West

Pivot Point
Pivot Point by Kasie West

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I've read enough YA over the past 2 years that each book seems to be a derivative of the ones I read before. That doesn't mean Pivot Point isn't a good story, it is. It has an original idea and a well executed plot. The ending is satisfying and I'll probably read book 2. I'd recommend this book for: any tween, teenager, or adult who has enjoyed any of the following books: Hunger Games, Divergent, Steelheart, Rot and Ruin, or Ender's Game.

My favorite quotes:

"When I read, I feel emotion all on my own. Emotion no living person is making me feel."

"Do you ever feel like you do something or are something for so long that it defines you?"
